Product Details

Baritec 40mg Tablet contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, an Angiotensin-II-Receptor-Blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and other cardiovascular conditions. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone responsible for constricting blood vessels, Olmesartan helps to dilate the blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and reducing the risks of stroke, heart attacks, and kidney damage.

Purposes

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
• Reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack in high-risk patients over 55 years of age.
• Improves survival following a heart attack.
• Reduces the risk of heart failure in patients over 60 years of age.
• Treatment for heart failure (reduced ejection fraction).

Warnings

• Pregnancy: Do not use during pregnancy.
