Product Details

Baritec Tablets 5mg contain Olmesartan Medoxomil, a medication used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). This drug works by blocking the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II by selectively inhibiting the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor in vascular smooth muscle, leading to vasodilation and lower blood pressure.

Warnings

• Pregnancy: Not recommended for use during pregnancy (especially after the first three months).

  • Discontinue use if severe diarrhea or significant weight loss occurs.

• Contraindications:
