Bepsar Plus (50/12.5mg) combines Losartan 50mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg to help manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and provide additional benefits for kidney protection, especially in diabetic patients. Losartan works by blocking the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin 2, while Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, reduces the body’s water content to help lower blood pressure.
