Daplazole 30 mg capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) designed to effectively reduce stomach acid production, providing relief from acid-related conditions. The active ingredient, dexlansoprazole, is used for managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and healing erosive esophagitis. This medication is formulated for short-term treatment of heartburn and erosive esophagitis, as well as for maintaining long-term healing and preventing the recurrence of symptoms.
Purposes:
Daplazole 30 mg is primarily indicated for:
- Short-term treatment (up to 4 weeks) of heartburn associated with non-erosive GERD.
- Short-term treatment (up to 8 weeks) of all grades of erosive esophagitis.
- Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis and relief of heartburn for up to 6 months.
Warnings:
- Pregnancy: There is no known risk in humans, but it’s important to consult your healthcare provider before using Daplazole 30 mg during pregnancy.
- Lactation: Caution is advised for breastfeeding women. Please consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance.
Adverse Effects:

Take Daplazole 30 mg capsule orally with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole without chewing. If you have difficulty swallowing, open the capsule and mix its contents with a tablespoon of applesauce, swallowing the mixture immediately without chewing.
