Drate Plus D Tablets combine the power of Alendronate Sodium and Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) to treat and manage osteoporosis. Warnings

• Warning 1: Other causes of osteoporosis, apart from estrogen deficiency, aging, and glucocorticoid use, should be investigated.
• Warning 2: Watch for potential esophageal reactions like difficulty swallowing or new heartburn, and discontinue use if symptoms occur.
• Warning 3: Drate Plus D Tablets are not recommended for patients with severe renal insufficiency, as it can lead to complications.

Adverse Effects

Common side effects include hypersensitivity reactions such as rash or urticaria, transient symptoms like muscle pain or malaise, and gastrointestinal issues like esophagitis or ulcers. In rare cases, severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome may occur. Other potential effects include ocular issues like uveitis or scleritis.
