Malirid Tablets 7.5mg contain primaquine, an antimalarial medication used to treat and prevent malaria. It targets liver stages of Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium ovale to prevent relapses and may also be used in combination with other drugs for malaria eradication. It has gametocidal activity against Plasmodium falciparum and can occasionally be used off-label for Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PCP) under medical supervision.

How It Works
