Nepanac Eye Drops contain nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory prodrug that is activated upon application to the eye. Once it penetrates the cornea, it is converted into amfenac, which blocks prostaglandin production by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme.  Eye Drops 5ml are designed to reduce inflammation and pain, particularly following cataract surgery.

Eye Drops are used to prevent and relieve pain and inflammation in the eyes after cataract surgery. For diabetic patients, it also helps reduce the risk of developing macular edema, a type of swelling in the back of the eye.
