Olesta-Am Tablets 10/20mg combine olmesartan medoxomil and amlodipine to effectively manage high blood pressure. Olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist, relaxes blood vessels by blocking a specific hormone, which lowers blood pressure. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, prevents calcium from entering blood vessel walls, further contributing to the relaxation of blood vessels and reduction of blood pressure.
