Sulvorid Tablets contain Levosulpiride, a selective dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist. This medication works by regulating both central and peripheral nervous circuits that control digestive dynamics, making it effective for managing symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Purposes:

Sulvorid Tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
• Levosulpiride (50 mg) is also indicated for managing schizophrenia and reactive suppressive states.

Warnings:

• Epilepsy: Levosulpiride is contraindicated in patients with epilepsy, as it may trigger seizures.
• Breast Cancer: This medication can increase prolactin levels, potentially worsening breast cancer; therefore, it is not recommended for patients with this condition.
