Warning’s
Valtec 160Mg should not be used if you have a known hypersensitivity to Valsartan or any of its components. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment, biliary cirrhosis, or in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Caution is advised when used alongside potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, or other medications that can increase potassium levels.
Adverse Effects
Common side effects of Valtec Tab 160Mg include viral infections, dizziness, and elevated potassium levels. Less frequently, patients may experience upper respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, and fatigue. Rare but serious effects can include severe dizziness and renal impairment.
