Abacus 200mg Tablets contain Cefpodoxime, a bactericidal agent effective against various bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and remains effective against certain beta-lactamases produced by both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

These tablets are indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections, including acute otitis media, pharyngitis, pneumonia, and uncomplicated gonorrhea.
