Helezol 20 mg Capsules contain Omeprazole, a potent proton pump inhibitor. Helezol works by irreversibly blocking the hydrogen/potassium adenosine triphosphatase enzyme system (H+/K+ ATPase) in the gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. This targeted action provides relief from symptoms associated with excess stomach acid and aids in the healing of esophageal damage caused by acid reflux.

Helezol is primarily used for treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Warnings
