Product Description

De-Wart Solution is a keratolytic treatment used for the treatment of warts, containing Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid. Salicylic acid works by softening and dissolving the intercellular structure of the skin's outer layer, helping to gradually shed affected skin cells until the wart clears.

How It Works

Salicylic acid is keratolytic, producing desquamation by dissolving the intercellular cement in the skin's outer layer, resulting in the gradual shedding of affected skin cells.

Dosage

• Apply once or twice daily using the supplied brush applicator, until the wart is fully cleared and normal skin ridge lines are restored

Possible Side Effects

• Allergic dermatitis, rash, dryness, scaling, irritation, itching, swelling, burning sensation, redness
• Excessive skin growth, skin discoloration, blistering, pain, and hypersensitivity at the application site

When Not to Use

• If allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid, or any other ingredient
• On warts located on the face, around the back passage or genitals, on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them, or other sensitive areas
• On skin that is irritated, reddened, infected, or on open wounds
• In children under 2 years of age

Precautions

• Not recommended for individuals with diabetes, poor blood circulation, or nerve damage affecting the hands and feet

Warnings

• Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas or healthy skin; rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs
• Not recommended for use during or immediately after a viral illness; avoid use in children or teenagers during or after chickenpox, influenza, or other viral infections
• If accidentally applied to healthy skin, blistering may occur — stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist
