Dexxoo 60 mg Capsule contains Dexlansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) designed to reduce stomach acid and alleviate symptoms of acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is specially formulated to treat both short-term and long-term conditions involving excessive stomach acid production, and can be used as part of a treatment plan for up to six months in some cases.

Purposes:

• Short-Term Treatment of Heartburn (4 weeks): Dexxoo is indicated for the relief of heartburn symptoms related to non-erosive GERD.
• Treatment of Erosive Esophagitis (8 weeks): This medication is used for the treatment of all grades of erosive esophagitis, a condition where stomach acid damages the esophageal lining.
• Maintenance Therapy: Dexxoo helps maintain healing and prevent the recurrence of erosive esophagitis, with relief from heartburn symptoms for up to 6 months.

How To Use:

• Take Dexxoo 60 mg with or without meals, following your doctor’s prescribed dosage.
• Swallow the capsule whole, or if you have difficulty swallowing, open the capsule and sprinkle the contents onto a tablespoon of applesauce. Swallow the mixture without chewing.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the capsule.
