Gaviscon Advance combines Sodium Alginate and Potassium Bicarbonate to provide effective relief from acidity and heartburn. Sodium Alginate, derived from seaweed, creates a protective barrier in the stomach that prevents acid from rising, alleviating discomfort associated with heartburn and indigestion. Potassium Bicarbonate acts as an antacid, neutralizing stomach acid for immediate relief.

Purposes:

Gaviscon Advance is indicated for the treatment of acid-related symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux, including:

• Acid regurgitation
• Heartburn
• Indigestion

Warnings:

• Kidney Issues: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have severe kidney problems, as this may affect the use of certain salts present in the formulation.
• Electrolyte Disturbances: If you have a history of electrolyte disturbances, particularly low phosphate levels in the blood (hypophosphatemia), seek medical advice before using this product.
• Cardiac Concerns: Individuals with significant kidney or heart disease should discuss with their healthcare provider before use, as the formulation may interfere with these conditions.
