Product Details:

Xanilo 60 mg capsules contain dexlansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is commonly used to treat heartburn and heal damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid. Designed for both short-term relief and long-term management, Xanilo helps patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis.

Purposes:

  • Heartburn Relief: Xanilo provides short-term treatment (4 weeks) for heartburn associated with non-erosive GERD.
  • Erosive Esophagitis Healing: It treats erosive esophagitis over a period of up to 8 weeks.
  • Long-Term Maintenance: Xanilo helps maintain the healing of erosive esophagitis and provides relief from heartburn for up to 6 months.

How To Use:

 

  • Take Xanilo 60 mg capsules with or without meals as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Swallow the capsule whole—do not crush or chew it.
  • If you have difficulty swallowing, open the capsule and sprinkle its contents on a tablespoon of applesauce. Swallow the mixture immediately without chewing.
  • Follow the prescribed dosage and complete the treatment as directed by your healthcare provider.
